Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 - 1882) was an American poet. He was educated at at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. He was most famous for The Song of Hiawatha and his career encompassed that of a Poet, Critic and Professor of English Literature at Harvard.
